DERA NATUNG GOVERNMENT COLLEGE, ITANAGAR celebrated the 74th NCC Day in the NCC garden of DERA NATUNG GOVERNMENT COLLEGE on Sunday.
More than 100 cadets participated in the program, along with CTO GOKE RIJI, the Assistant Professor
The Principal Dr M.Q.Khan graced the occasion . The programme began with unfurling of NCC flag by principal followed by the NCC song.
The principal Dr M.Q.Khan in his special address,highlighting the importance of the NCC day as well as NCC- song motivated cadets to spread the essence of true patriotism by creating mass awareness on healthy, happy, disciplined and hygienic life style by adhering to love, peace, positivity,harmony, unity and integrity for making our motherland still stronger and prosperous. The event ended with planting of saplings by the principal.
19 NCC cadets from the college donated blood voluntarily at R K Mission hospital. The blood donation camp was conducted by 1st APBn NCC Naharlagun. The main purpose of this event was to create awareness regarding regular blood donation in the society.
