Tuki dedicated a steel bridge over river Pare to the public

SAGALEE, APRIL 21 : The former Chief Minister and Sagalee MLA Nabam Tuki on Wednesday dedicated a steel bridge measuring 75 mtrs connecting Rigo and Nimte village in Sagalee circle to the people in a simple ceremony.

Inaugurating the much needed bridge for several years, the dream of the people of Rigo village came true after the inauguration today. Said Tuki with conviction.

The bridge will help thousands of people of both village Rigo and Nimte for day today needs and other developmental activities. Terming the connectivity through road, bridge telecommunication, air and water as mother of all development and after the inauguration the village will naturally develop and the economic condition of people of the village will naturally increase and the people will feel relief and convenience for all activities including the school and college going childrens. He said.

More than 13 such bridges have been constructed in my assembly constituency and hardly few remain and hope that the rest bridges projects are taken up soon and proposals are being taken up. He said.
He appealed to the people not to damage such infrastructure created for the public service.
Referring to the state government has declared 2021 as the year of Education and the Engineering college at Toru construction activities was delayed but now it is in full progress and hope the institution comes up soon. He said. 

The Women ITI institute in my assembly constituency has also completed and the principal has also been posted and hope the ITI also soon starts functioning.
" The people of Sagalee assembly constituency have elected me and since then I have been doing my best effort for the development of Sagalee constituency with dedication", Tuki added.
Sagalee ADC Audil Toko, PWD Bobia-Sagalee circle SE Hage Bida, PWD Sagalee Division Nabam Takar, among others also address the gathering.

The 75 mtrs span constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 7 Crore funded by RIDF with carriageway 4.25 mtrs with loading capacity of 24 R with steel truss bridge with RCC decking. Constructed by Tama Fabrication Works, Naharlagun.
