MP Gao informed the
media that today is Tika abhiyan and I have my 2nd dose of vaccination. I see a
huge crowd only due to awareness on the need for having vaccination which will
increase the immune in the human body to fight Coronavirus. He said.
One can get an
infection of Covid even after one is vaccinated but the person who is
vaccinated can survive without much problems. He said. “ I did not find any side
effects in my body and feeling fine and hope everyone as per required age limit
can come to respective health centers and get them vaccinated. Gao
claimed.
The party, government
and administration is trying its best effort and creating awareness among the
masses and now it is the turn of the general public to remain fit and fine but
obey the guidelines and advisory and maintain Covid protocol. Gao added.
Meanwhile, Health
& Family Welfare Minister Alo LIbang informs that the vaccination drive is
getting momentum as people voluntarily come to respective PHCs/CHCs, zonal and
district hospitals to get them vaccinated. The trend is good in urban areas but
it is a bit slow and low turnout in rural areas. It is the need of the hour to
get everyone as per order of the government specially the person above 45 years
to get them vaccinated. Libang said.
The vaccination which
started from January 16 was low turnout due to assumption, presumption and confusion
but in due course of time it is seen that the awareness drive carried out by
all stakeholders the vaccination drive is much faster. Libang said.
The turnout in capital
complex is quite good and vaccination drive is smoothly going on in 6 centers at
RK Mission Hospital, TRIHMS, health centers at Chimpu, Karsingsa and Itafot
(Bank Tinali) and urge upon all the citizens of above 45 years to get them
vaccinated in all these health centers of capital complex and all the zonal and
district hospital of respective district of state. Libang said.
“it has been observed
that those who tested positive are those who are coming from outside the state
and it is necessary to speed up the testing process and as well as to increase
the vaccination that we are taking care of” LIbang said.
“ we have already
sounded alert to the citizens and we are tracking those who are coming from
outside state, we are carrying our testing at respective centers and health
department is also on high alert but nothing to worry, only one thing is the
important is that everyone used facemask, maintain social and physical
destining, hand washing and sanitizing. don’t go to crowded areas and remain
safe and secure” LIbang added.
In the Tikka utsav
from April 11 to 14 2021 2,796 people have been vaccinated and 14,430
people have been vaccinated from January 16 to till date. However as per
information till April 1.56,193 people have been vaccinated across the state so
